There's nothing more frustrating than not knowing how to capture that amazing sunset you see IRL, in the camera. Or worse yet, getting a blurry shot. You'll learn how to use light (or what to do when there isn't any) to avoid blurry and grainy pics using settings and if you have more than one, lenses.


We'll head back into Lightroom, where you'll learn how to color-correct your images, so they look good on the screen and in print.

We'll head into Lightroom to edit your collection., where you'll select up to 5 images to submit to the book for consideration. You'll learn how to create and apply actions to those images to create a cohesive collection for the final critique. Then we'll jump over into Photoshop, where you'll learn how to prep your files for print.


You'll also learn how to generate buzz for the book and we'll go over any last minute details of the submission.

Yes, we'll have a tech q&a during the 1st sessions and critiques during the 2nd and 3rd sessions. You can ask questions about your camera, your settings, your pictures, Lightroom, and Photoshop during sessions with lessons corresponding to your specific question.


There is also a private Facebook group for your cohort and you can post pics and questions in there anytime.

WHAT KIND OF CAMERA DO I NEED FOR THIS COURSE?

You'll need a Digital SLR or Mirrorless SLR for this course. If you don't have a camera yet (or are in the market for new one) my 2021 Buyer's Guide (included) will help you decide which camera is right for you.

DO I NEED ANY SOFTWARE FOR THIS CLASS?

Yes, you'll need Adobe Lightroom Classic and Adobe Photoshop. I'll give you a link for a 7-day free trial during the first session.

DO I HAVE TO PUBLISH THE BOOK?

Nope! I'll guide thru the process of shooting your pictures, editing and color-correcting them, then preparing your files for the book. I'll publish the book with the files you created.

ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO PUT MY PICS IN A BOOK?

YES! I have no doubt that you'll have publishable images after the lessons.

DO I GET A HARD COPY OF THE BOOK?
